That's really what it's all about anyway, right?
We all just want a system to help plan our days so we create a year full of memories.
Remember what Jim Rohn says... Life is not just the passing of time. Life is the collection of experiences and their intensity
Here are a few reasons I love my paper Monthly Planner.
First, by writing things down I actually remember them. There is something about this process that helps things really click for me!
My planner is also like a journal - a little glimpse into my daily life and all the comings and goings. I have my planners going back for years and although I don't really refer to them the archive is kind of fun.
Another reason is that I can see everything at once. This is probably the best reason - the entire month all before my eyes!!
Also, it makes me happy! I use colored markers to brighten things up a bit! You should see my mom's paper planner - she doodles and draws elaborate pictures in it sometimes. :)
Do you ever find that sometimes digital clutter is worse than paper clutter? I don't know about you, but I can ignore or snooze a digital reminder or task on my computer forever. But, until I physically throw away a post-it note or cross off an item on my to-do list or in my planner... it does not go away. It's always in front of me!
Lately, I've also used an extra Monthly Planner as a editorial type calendar for my blog and emails. Here's a sneak peek below - like today's post about why I use a paper planner. :) Nice and convenient, huh?

Cheers to an amazing 2016!
